Questions

Good to know

Can an administrator delete an archived record early?
Not while retention is running. Administrators can shorten nothing inside a locked period, and attempts to do so are recorded in the log.
What does tamper-evident mean here?
Every log entry carries a fingerprint of the entry before it. If any past entry is altered, the chain no longer matches and the break is visible.
Who can read the access log?
Only people you grant the Auditor role. They see the log but not the file contents unless you also give them access.
