A drawing set can run to many gigabytes and change a dozen times in a week. Blueprint Vault stores every revision, uploads big files in resumable chunks and lets you name the versions that matter, so anyone on the team can find the sheet that was actually issued.

What is inside

Built-in tools

  • F-01

    Full version tree

Every save becomes a revision you can compare, restore or branch from.

  • F-02

    Named milestones

Mark a revision as Issued for Review or As Built and it is protected from cleanup.

  • F-03

    Chunked uploads

Multi-gigabyte files upload in resumable pieces, so a dropped connection never restarts the transfer.

  • F-04

    Locked checkouts

Check a file out so two people cannot overwrite each other's edits.

  • F-05

    Markup pins

Leave comments pinned to a spot on a drawing or image for reviewers to answer.

  • F-06

    Fast previews

Common drawing and image formats open in the browser without downloading the whole file.

How it runs

Four steps, start to finish

  1. 01

    Upload the set

Drop in a drawing set or design library. Large files upload in resumable chunks.

  2. 02

    Let versions build

Each save adds a revision to the tree, with who changed it and when.

  3. 03

    Review and mark up

Reviewers pin comments to the drawing and compare any two revisions.

  4. 04

    Release a milestone

Name the approved revision. It is locked against cleanup and easy to find later.

Questions

Good to know

Does Blueprint Vault change my original files?
No. Files are stored exactly as you upload them. Previews are generated separately and never replace the original.
Can I restore an older version?
Yes. Pick any revision in the tree and restore it as the current version, or download it without changing anything.
What happens to milestones when old revisions are cleaned up?
Named milestones are exempt from cleanup. They stay in the tree until someone with the right role removes the name.
